Job Purpose
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – PNW is responsible for driving growth and managing all sales activities for Amiad Irrigation within the assigned territory. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with distributor representatives, designers, and specifiers to expand Amiad’s presence in the Agricultural, Landscape, and Ag Water markets. The RSM will identify new business opportunities, support key accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction, working closely with internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee sales activities across Washington, Oregon, Montana, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan,
Manitoba targeting the Agricultural, Landscape, and Ag Water sectors.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to create and implement growth plans for key accounts, aligned with Amiad’s
market objectives.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with key accounts, architects, engineering firms, and distributor sales
teams.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, market segments, and distribution channels to expand Amiad’s
market share.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales forecasts; set sales goals for distributors; and monitor proposal status
with distributors and OEMs.
• Deliver product training and presentations to customers and partners; maintain up-to-date knowledge of
competitors and industry trends.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Continuously seek ways to improve sales processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Work closely with the inside sales team, engineering, and operations to ensure positive customer relations.
• Provide regular updates, including monthly sales forecasts and territory performance reports.
Education and Experience
• 3–5 years of sales experience in filtration, water systems, or related industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, patience, and diplomacy in resolving customer and equipment issues.
• Experience with water systems utilizing pumps and valves preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Customer-focused mindset and professional demeanor.
