Position Description: CGI Federal has a need for a SAP Training Developer to support training for a large-scale ERP financial system implementation. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest organizations of the US Federal government. This program will retire the agency's existing legacy system and replace it with modern ERP. We take an innovative and collaborative approach to supporting our client working in an Agile environment using emerging technologies. You will be interacting with a dynamic team of people with opportunities to learn and grow consulting and training skills as you help provide a change management journey to our client.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities: •As a Training Developer, you will use training and instructional design to ensure conformity with mission training objectives.
•You will plan, develop and deliver training materials as scheduled.
•Create training content and materials based on the financial system being implemented; this will necessitate learning enough about the core system to be able to develop relevant training materials.
•Deliver training materials via a variety of channels, including in-person classroom training and/or virtual training sessions to a decentralized audience.
•Have the desire and ability to travel within the US to deliver training.
•Coordinate related instructional document preparation from support staff.
•Conduct needs assessments/instructional analysis.
•Prepare auxiliary plans for training project completion, including comprehensive timelines.
•Conduct performance-based measurement assessments for objective evaluation of instructional programs.
•Prepare training status reports, exhibits, communications and procedures as required.
•Consult with senior instructional staff to confirm program/system objectives, operational procedures and system/program constraints.
•Remain current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements.
•Author and organize training systems procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with organizational/departmental requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: •Due to the nature of the government contracts, this position requires US Citizenship.
•BS degree in Business, Education, Training, HR, Information Technology or related field.
•5+ years of experience.
•Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting.
•Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong editing skills.
•Ability to master the full training cycle.
•Experience with training delivery.
•Adequate knowledge of learning management software.
•Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques.
•Sound decision making and organizational skills.
•Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
•Proficiency in MS Office.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,800.00 - $146,800.00.
