Description
Onboarding Schedule: Remote orientation on Friday, December 5th from 9am-2pm.
Training Schedule: Onsite classroom style training would follow orientation Monday-Friday 8am-3:30pm for 2 weeks.
Regular Schedule: 10:00AM-7:30PM Monday-Friday and every other Saturday. Overtime can be expected regularly throughout the week. *Position will transition to a work from home role once quality and productivity are at exceptional levels. This will take a minimum of 3 months onsite.
Purpose: The Data Entry Operator I operates a computer to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing. This position works from various standardized source documents that have been coded and require little or no selecting, coding or interpreting of data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Logs into a computer and switches between work queues to validate, rotate, identify and key information.
Determines what information needs keying on each document and makes decisions about questionable information on computer images.
Rotates and adjust images.
Verifies, if required, that previously keyed information is correct.
Re-keys previously keyed information.
Deciphers errors and makes a decision as to what the correct information is.
Reference work instructions as needed.
Required to attend mandatory meetings and trainings, work scheduled overtime with minimal notice, and perform other duties as assigned per business needs.
Qualification Requirements: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to read, write and speak English.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Successfully pass and maintain acceptable background checks and security clearances.
Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Suite experience.
Able to type 8,000 keystrokes per hour.
