Position Highlights: - Position: Scheduler

- Location: Community Hospital/Canyon View Surgery Center
Responsibilities: - Responsible for scheduling patients for any exam or procedure requested by the physician's office. To include Radiology (all modalities) and Respiratory Therapy. Scheduling is performed in accordance with each department's requirements and recommendations.
- Verify presence of physician orders for exam or procedure with diagnosis, if incomplete notify physician's office for clarification and involve a Technologist if verbal order is required.
- Responsible for providing all necessary paperwork for each exam or procedure to specific modality or personnel.
- Provide patient with any pre-procedure questionnaires or forms needing filled out.
- Responsible for monitoring and cleaning waiting rooms and providing regular communication to patients and family members as needed or scheduled.
- Responsible for being familiar with the scheduling and procedure notes for current, accurate prep and protocol information.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of scheduling experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation: - $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
Additional Information: - Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505
- Work Location: In-person/onsite
