Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and customer-oriented Security Host to join our team at [Nightclub Name]. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patrons, staff, and property during nightclub operations. The Security Host will maintain a professional demeanor, handle difficult situations calmly, and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors while withstanding noisy sound levels and remaining standing throughout their shift.
Essential Functions:
· Maintain Order and Security: Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent disturbances, ensure compliance with club policies, and handle any security issues professionally and swiftly while withstanding noisy sound levels and standing for extended periods.
· Check IDs and Monitor Entry: Verify the age and identification of guests entering the nightclub, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age requirements and club policies.
· Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries, offering guidance, and addressing concerns or complaints in a courteous manner despite noisy sound levels and while standing.
· Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, accidents, and emergencies. Take appropriate action in accordance with club protocols and local laws despite high sound levels.
· Collaboration with Team: Work collaboratively with other security personnel, bartenders, waitstaff, and management to ensure a cohesive and secure environment while standing amidst noisy sound levels.
· Enforce Policies: Enforce club policies regarding dress code, behavior, and alcohol consumption to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests while standing in high noise environments.
· Report Writing: Maintain accurate records by documenting incidents, activities, and any irregularities in detailed reports despite the challenging acoustic environment.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in security, preferably in a nightlife or entertainment setting.
· Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
· Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods amidst noisy sound levels.
· Knowledge of local laws, security protocols, and emergency procedures.
· Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Physical Fitness and Vigilance: Maintaining physical fitness to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods, despite loud sound levels and potentially high-pressure situations.
· Adaptability and Resilience: Being flexible and adaptable to changing situations and remaining resilient in high-stress environments.
· Decision-Making Skills: Making quick and effective decisions to address security concerns or emergencies while adhering to club policies and legal requirements.
· Attention to Detail: Noticing subtle changes in the environment, identifying potential risks, and documenting incidents accurately and thoroughly.
· Teamwork and Collaboration: Working cohesively with other security personnel and club staff to ensure a unified approach to maintaining security and a positive guest experience.
· Ethical Conduct: Upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and integrity while enforcing club policies and local regulations.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
