**Position Purpose:**

Responsible for developing and managing a team which is responsible for driving Centenes preparedness to respond to business disruptions using risk-based decision making.

Establish and communicate a vision, create competitive strategies and plans and ensure departmental strategies are aligned with and directly supporting the goals of the organization.

Build the organizational framework to support the business continuity program and lead the implementation of key concepts.

Work with Enterprise Crisis Manager (ECM) to implement an incident management system that defines organizational roles, lines of authority and succession of authority. Provide structure and leadership for crisis events.

Takes Ownership of completion of BC Plans across the enterprise. Ensure appropriate BC Plan approval from senior leadership. Select cost-effective strategies to reduce deficiencies as identified during the risk assessment and business impact analysis processes

Lead team to identify risks that can adversely affect an entitys resources or image. Assess risks to determine the potential impacts to the entity, enabling the entity to determine the most effective use of resources to reduce these potential impacts. Ensure the program remains compliant with all applicable regulations and contracts.

Establish and own training and awareness programs that result in personnel being able to respond to incidents in a calm and efficient manner. Establish an exercise, assessment and maintenance program to maintain a state of readiness.

Manage all responses to internal and external audit requests for Business Continuity and Resilience. Devise leadership reports on the health of Centene's Business Resiliency program and posture.

**Education/Experience:**

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Cyber, Public Health, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Resiliency, Continuity or related field.

7+ years of Business Continuity Planning, preferably in Healthcare or other highly regulated industry such as Finance.

**License/Certification:** CBCP or CHPCP or CBRM o MBCP

Pay Range: $103,500.00 - $191,600.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
