Senior Manager, Social Change and Advocacy Communications Join to apply for the Senior Manager, Social Change and Advocacy Communications role at ChangeMakers . The Senior Manager, Social Change and Advocacy Communications will manage projects, develop strategy, build and maintain client relationships, and provide expert project management to oversee project teams, budgets and timelines. They bring a background (education, work experience, or both) in social change communications or advocacy communications, and Indigenous relations or policy and program development. The candidate is eager to lead the strategy and execution of projects related to public health, reconciliation and other topics. Detailed Responsibilities: Collaborate on strategy and manage execution of integrated marketing communications projects providing overall client management and project management and leading research, analysis, strategy and implementation. Write for public, client, media and internal audiences, including research and creative briefs, strategy documents, articles, reports, proposals, and presentations. Oversee critical paths and project budgets, coordinate activities with other team members and lead research, consultation and engagement processes, strategy development, and project execution. Provide quality assurance to produce client-ready materials at all stages of a project. Identify and develop responses to opportunities and risks for projects and clients. Contribute to business development, including: identifying new business opportunities, leading the development of proposals and pitches, representing ChangeMakers at networking and other professional events. Mentor junior team members. What we’re looking for: Must have: 7+ years of experience in communications, Indigenous relations, and/or policy/program development/evaluation. Educational background in communications, public health, Indigenous studies, political science, public administration, sociology, or related field. Demonstrate excellent writing abilities, with the capacity to communicate clearly and effectively to different audiences in various formats. Apply strategic thinking, research, and analysis to solve complex problems, using good judgment to make informed decisions. Quickly learn and adapt to new software and technologies, showcasing attention to detail and a proactive approach. Manage projects efficiently, demonstrating action-oriented behavior, and take the initiative in both independent and collaborative settings. Good to have: Agency or public sector experience. The salary range for this opportunity is between $75,000 and $85,000 CAD.
