Volt is immediately hiring for Senior Network & Cloud Project Manager in Remote

As a Senior Network & Cloud Project Manager you will:

Project Management

• Develop, define, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
• Identify and allocate necessary resources for projects, defining and assigning major project roles
• Apply both agile and waterfall methodologies to effectively manage cloud-based project plans

Cloud & Network Technical Leadership

• Plan, design, and implement local and wide-area network solutions integrated with cloud platforms
• Architect and deploy cloud-based infrastructure on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Design, analyze, and modify network components supporting cloud connectivity and customer communication implementation
• Coordinate with vendors for installation of network equipment such as routers, switches, and cloud connectivity solutions
• Design, implement, and lead security and network-based initiatives on a large scale across hybrid environments

Team Management

• Assign and monitor work of project/program management staff
• Provide technical support, guidance, and direction to team members
• Foster collaboration between technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors

Client & Vendor Relations

• Interface with external customers and field-based employees on technical matters
• Conduct vendor comparisons and negotiations to ensure optimal solutions and pricing
• Maintain strong working relationships with cloud service providers and network vendors

Analysis & Planning

• Conduct thorough project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons
• Build, monitor, and implement cloud-based solutions with appropriate security controls
• Develop network and cloud architecture designs that meet business and technical requirements
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management

This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in network and cloud project management
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and associated services
• Experience implementing both local and wide-area network solutions integrated with cloud environments
• Proven track record of successful project delivery using agile and waterfall methodologies
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master)
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments

Experience in a multi-site or global organization

Pay Rate: $60.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
