The Social Media Coordinator will support our social strategy through community management , content creation , and platform publishing . You’ll engage directly with our fast-growing audience, manage community-led programs, and collaborate closely with the influencer and digital teams to drive brand love. You’ll also play a key role in contracting creators to produce top-tier UGC for our brand channels, managing the process end-to-end to ensure we consistently deliver engaging, social-first content.

Key Responsibilities

Community Management

  • Engage with and monitor MCoBeauty’s rapidly growing social community.
  • Manage real-time interactions, responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions across platforms.
  • Identify and foster relationships with brand advocates and top community members.
  • Assist in developing and executing community-led social programs.

UGC & Creator Partnerships

  • Help identify and contract creators to produce high-quality, on-brand UGC for use across MCoBeauty’s social platforms.
  • Own the end-to-end sourcing, contracting, billing, and relationship management of a small group of creators .
  • Maintain a pipeline of creator content and ensure timely delivery, rights management, and brand compliance.

Social Growth & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the influencer and digital teams to develop initiatives that drive community engagement and follower growth.
  • Support social media campaigns that enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Assist in developing new strategies to increase reach and audience interaction.

Content Publishing

  • Help publish all social media content and maintain a strong brand voice across platforms.
  • Ensure content quality control, reviewing assets for alignment with brand guidelines before posting.
  • Attend branded events to assist with real-time content capture and coverage as needed.

Social Listening & Reporting

  • Monitor trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to help inform content strategy.
  • Provide regular reports on community engagement, sentiment, and key social metrics.
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities for brand engagement.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–4 years working in social media for a beauty or CPG brand.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
  • Communication: Strong copywriting and online engagement skills.
  • Creative Eye: Understanding of social-first content creation and beauty industry trends.
  • Detail-Oriented: Organized, with a keen eye for quality control and community interactions.
  • Beauty Enthusiast: A deep understanding of beauty consumers and digital culture.
