70% of work will be making and assisting with filming and editing short-form videos for luxury notebook page and avant-garde/high fashion makeup page. 30% will be personal assistant work.

Will teach you a ton about social media content creation but basic requirements are to know how to film and edit short form videos. 

Must be comfortable doing a hybrid WFH and in-office work.

Cindy Chen is an avant-garde makeup and fashion content creator with over 3 million followers, seeking a creative Part-Time Social Media and Personal Assistant to help elevate her brand’s online presence through engaging short-form content.

Job Overview:

Looking for a Social Media Assistant with hands-on experience in filming and editing short-form video content using a smartphone. This part-time position is ideal for anyone looking to learn more about how to create social media content. The role primarily involves creating compelling content for Cynessia luxury notebooks but also includes support for Cindy's main platforms. Candidates must be comfortable appearing on camera and should be prepared to handle some general personal assistant tasks as secondary responsibilities. The role requires approximately 10 hours a week, with flexible hours. Occasional travel may be required for events or filming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation for Cynessia Notebooks: Film and produce high-quality short-form video content specifically for Cynessia notebooks, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts that align with our brand’s voice and marketing objectives.

• Support for Cindy's Platforms: Assist with content creation and management for Cindy's main social media platforms as needed.

• Video Editing: Edit videos using software such as InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or CapCut to ensure a polished and engaging final product.

• Trend Monitoring: Research and stay informed about the latest trends, challenges, and best practices on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to keep content fresh and relevant.

• Filming: Use a smartphone to capture high-quality video content, ensuring optimal visual and audio quality. Appear on camera as needed for content creation.

• Office and Event Assistance: Attend the office or assist at events as needed to help with filming and other content-related tasks.

• Remote Work: Manage social media accounts, schedule posts, and engage with followers from home when not on-site.

• Analytics: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Cindy to brainstorm and execute creative content ideas and campaigns.

• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

• Personal Assistant Tasks: Assist with general personal assistant duties, such as scheduling meetings, managing emails, cleaning and organizing studio space, or handling administrative tasks, as needed. These duties will not be the primary focus of the role but will be required occasionally.

• Travel: Occasionally travel may be required for events, shoots, or other content-related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in filming and creating short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Editing Skills: Proficiency with video editing software, including InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or CapCut.
• Filming Skills: Experience in filming high-quality content using an iPhone or other smartphone.
• Comfort on Camera: Willingness to appear on camera as needed for content creation.
• Trend Awareness: Ability to research and stay updated on social media trends and industry changes.
• Flexibility: Ability to work both in the office and remotely, including attending events and filming on-site as required.
• Creativity: Strong creative abilities with a knack for generating engaging and trend-driven content ideas.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Organization: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with evolving trends and platform updates.
• Flexible Hours: Availability to work approximately 10 hours a week with flexible hours to accommodate a variety of tasks and deadlines.

• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for work-related events or content creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
