About the role Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is looking for a part-time massage therapist. As an integral member of the Spa, the Massage Therapist position performs body treatments according to established Four Seasons protocols. The Massage Therapist also complies with Four Seasons core and culture standards. This position ensures all guests experience pure peace and relaxation.
We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of various treatment protocols and all candidates must have a current qualification and massage license, where applicable. This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position. Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required. All candidates will have a warm and welcome smile and a positive attitude.
What you will do - Set-up and maintain Spa including refreshments in pre-treatment and treatment areas.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa services.
- Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities within the treatment room and lounges and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
- Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked with linen and supplies at all times.
- Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary and Staff Room.
- Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest Experience database as vehicles of communication to Adhere to Four Seasons standards and massage and body treatment sequences of service.
- Properly prepare, operate, and clean/sanitize all equipment in the treatment rooms and Spa areas.
- Ensure compliance of daily, and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of treatment rooms are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
What you bring - 1-2 years' experience in a luxury spa environment or equivalent is preferred
- Massage license is current as per state law
- CPR, First Aid Certified preferred
- This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position
- Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required

Schedule & Hours: - This is an part-time position. Candidates must be able to work various shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sundays, and holidays.
