Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Pius X/St. Leo School is seeking a passionate, dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our faith-filled, diverse learning community for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, nurturing the whole child, and supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. This candidate will introduce students to the Spanish language and culture through dynamic and engaging lessons and activities.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated and developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
Integrate Catholic values and teachings into Spanish instruction and classroom culture
Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration
*This position could be full-time depending on availability

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education (required)

Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate, with a preferred endorsement in World Language - Spanish or the ability to obtain one

Experience teaching at the Jr. High level preferred

Safe environment certified
