Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for Special Education Teachers in a K-12 school setting in Greenville, MI. The contract runs for the current school year (CSY) with a full-time schedule of 37.25 hours per week, starting August 14, 2025. Four openings are available, each requiring specific endorsements and experience working with students with special needs.

Available Positions:

• High School Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teacher: Must hold an Autism Spectrum Endorsement.
• Elementary Emotional Impairment (EI) Teacher: Must hold an EI Endorsement.
• Secondary (Middle and High School) Emotional Impairment Teacher: Must hold an EI Endorsement.
• Elementary ASD Teacher: Must hold an Autism Spectrum Endorsement.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan teaching license with appropriate endorsement(s) aligned with the assigned position.
• Prior experience in special education is preferred.
• Strong understanding of specialized instructional strategies for students with ASD or EI.
• Effective munication and collaboration skills to work with diverse student needs and educators.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs.
• Provide instruction and therapeutic support in alignment with endorsed areas.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and related service providers to foster student growth.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and ply with state and federal special education requirements.
