Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 special education teaching position is available in Augusta, GA for the upcoming school year under a contract arrangement. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and challenges
• Provide specialized instruction and interventions aligned with special education standards
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
• Manage caseloads that may include students with Autism and behavioral challenges, depending on experience
• Maintain compliance with all state regulations and district policies regarding special education

Qualifications:

• A valid Georgia teaching license with a special education endorsement is required
• Experience working with Autism and managing behavior caseloads is a strong advantage
• New graduates with appropriate licensure are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
