About the Role
The Company is seeking a Tax Managing Director for its Private Client and Family Office Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction and oversight of the practice, including business development, practice development, and client management. This role requires a visionary leader who can collaborate with firm leadership to ensure the practice's approach is consistent with the firm's philosophy. The Managing Director will also be involved in supervising and mentoring staff, leading client engagements, and applying their industry knowledge to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a preference for an MBA or advanced degree. A CPA certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of experience in general accounting, with a focus on tax planning for various business entities. Experience in a supervisory role and a strong background in consultative or business advisory services are essential. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment, and a proven track record in business development and maintaining client relationships. The Managing Director will be expected to travel up to 25% of the time and must be adept at managing a diverse staff to achieve desired results.
