Unit: NICU/Nursery Level of NICU: Level 2 nursery (ICN) # Beds: 30 Nurse:Patient Ratios: 5-6:1 Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP?): BLS, NRP Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Normal newborn, Respiratory Distress Experience or 'Must have' skills: ICN level care, c-pap, monitors, IV/blood draws, blood glucose testing, hearing screen, vitals, delivery attendance Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): Nights 5pm-5:30am, block scheduling Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend Holiday Requirements: Rotating (Every other) Is there call or a standby requirement?: No Floating Requirements: May have couplets if census is low **This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles**
