Vice President, Compliance and Control II – BNY Pershing AML Investigations Team Lead

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Compliance and Control II to join our Financial Crimes Compliance team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL – ONSITE/HYBRID 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Lead a team of level 3 Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) investigators ensuring effective reviews are being conducted that adhere to regulatory and compliance reporting standards, providing coaching and feedback as needed.
• Responsible for carrying out various aspects of Pershing’s AML functions.
• Manage daily team activities, workload, and assignments that contribute to development of projects/programs that improve compliance and control environments. 
• Contributes to the preparation of time sensitive reporting and appropriately escalates issues to management. 
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to achieve overall team objectives. 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience required. 
• 5+ years within the financial services industry with strong knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act.
• 3+ years of direct supervision experience. 
• Experience with Broker-Dealer, Registered Investment Adviser or regulatory agency preferred. 
• Series 7 and 24 license preferred or willingness to obtain. 
• CAMS, CFE, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and impact business priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires hands on support and teamwork.
