Position Summary

The Welder will perform welding, and cutting of metal components using flame-cutting and hand-welding equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work order procedures.
\n
• Weld and fabricate a variety of components using proper techniques and tools.
\n
• Inspect and monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion.
\n
• Assemble, tack, and weld parts in vertical, flat, and overhead positions.
\n
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
\n
• Report faulty equipment or defective materials promptly.
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned.
\n

Physical Requirements

• Ability to weld in vertical, flat, and overhead positions.
\n
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.
\n
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Minimum 2 years' experience in fabrication and welding.
\n
• Proficiency in PVF (pipe, valves, fittings) welding and fitting.
\n
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
\n
• Experience welding cut pipe, flanges, ports, drains, and other attachments.
\n
• Familiarity with setup, positioning, and angular measurements.
\n
• Must pass a demonstration weld test.
\n
