This role requires proficiency in various cosmetology techniques, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends. Responsibilities: Provide a variety of beauty services, including hair styling, hair extensions, makeup application, body waxing, and nail care. Perform advanced treatments such as botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatment, and deep tissue massage. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations. Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions. Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products. Demonstrate retail products effectively to enhance sales opportunities through upselling techniques. Manage front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology and participate in ongoing training sessions. Qualifications: Proven experience in cosmetology with a valid cosmetology license. Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY is preferred. Experience in management or guest services is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and various beauty techniques including hair threading, tattooing, and product demos. Previous experience in a med spa environment is an advantage.
