Overview Financial Reporting Accountant - Financial Services Firm at WhiteCap Search in Stamford, CT. The role offers high visibility with C-suite executives and exposure to executive leadership in a dynamic finance environment. Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Responsibilities Perform reporting and analysis related to Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) expenses. Assist with corporate consolidations and prepare consolidation elimination entries. Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet analyses. Maintain and update consolidated reporting spreadsheets. Prepare intercompany reconciliations and related elimination entries. Prepare financial statements for foreign subsidiary companies for external distribution. Maintain the general ledger and the consolidation reporting package. Conduct budget-to-actual expense analysis by department. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in financial services, hedge funds, investments, or commodities is a plus. Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is preferred.
