ProSource, a leader in the right of way, acquisition, and relocation industry, is searching for a Relocation Specialist. Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, ProSource is poised for expansion and growth and are looking for the perfect Relocation Specialist candidate to add to our team.

This is a hybrid position (time may be spent in an office environment or working remotely) based in the U.S. Although hybrid/remote the perfect candidate will need to be located in the Virginia, MN area or have the ability to relocate for this role.

Job Summary:

The Relocation Specialist will assist with the relocation of displaced individuals for assigned projects. This position is responsible for independently reviewing eligibility and determination of URA benefits for impacted tenants.

Duties/Responsibilities :

• Assist those displaced with locating community resources and obtaining suitable housing in the community.
• Assist those displaced in completing relocation claim forms.
• Coordinates meeting(s) and inspections for replacement properties.
• Prepare necessary documents, reports, and recommendations for project as needed.
• Any other task as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Working, Relocation, Property Management, Real Estate, or equivalent on the job experience
• 3-years’ experience in administrating Uniform Relocation Act (URA) benefits Required.
• (Recognized State) Notary Public
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The Relocation Specialist will regularly be using a computer and other standard remote office equipment. This position may also require occasional local travel as deemed necessary to meet with tenants and any other viable entities and to complete Decent, Safe, and Sanitary (DSS) Inspections. Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable transportation. Relocation Specialist may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and may require some light lifting or carrying of documents or equipment.
