Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker is needed to support the K-12 student population within a school setting, with an assignment lasting through the current school year. This contract role is based in Canton, MI, providing an opportunity to apply social work best practices in an educational environment focused on student well-being and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized support plans tailored to student needs.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources for students and families.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address barriers to learning and promote positive student outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student development and resolve issues impacting academic success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all relevant policies and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) with valid state licensure or certification as required.
• Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents preferred.
