Security Guards work at multiple locations throughout the park to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a keen attention to detail, exceptional observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Requirements:

• Meet minimum age requirement of 18 years old to be considered for this position.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry heavy objects
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Position Summary:

• Greet, monitor, and screen employees, guests, visitors, and other personnel
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Report any suspicious activity, incidents, or breaches of security to the appropriate authorities.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and security systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alerts, theft, and security breaches.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Interact effectively with employees, visitors, and external stakeholders, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Maintain ride queue lines, sending line jumpers to the back to ensure an efficient boarding process
• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
• Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas
• Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection
• Be willing to assist in other departments as needed
• Helping to maintain a clean and clear working area for guests
• Participate in training sessions and drills to remain current on security protocols and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining the physical security of premises by monitoring surveillance cameras and security systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe environment for all.
• Assist in deescalating issues that may arise with guests and team members
