Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Red Hat Linux System Administrator with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Richmond, VA and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 month contract position. Responsibilities: Senior level Red Hat Linux System Administrator to perform triage of business impacted incidents, restore incidents to meet service level agreement Duties include 9x5 incident support, triage LEAPP upgrade failures, rollback of LEAPP upgrade root cause analysis, and escalation of critical issues, execution of scheduled activities Requirements: 10 years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Linux (6/7/8/9) Experience on supporting Client, Dell x86 hardware platform Experience on supporting LEAPP in-place upgrade Strong experience in Red Hat Linux System Administration, Hardware Troubleshooting, configuration, and performance monitoring and tuning experience Solid troubleshooting skills to triage with different technology partners Good communication skills - audience centric and adjustment to different audience levels Understanding of SAN/NAS technology and experience to support server-side related issue Understanding of TCP/IP and ability to troubleshoot latency or performance issue Red Hat Cluster Services Certification Experience managing a large global environment consisting of 55,000 or more Linux virtual servers Understand and follow the ITIL incident/change/problem management process Desired skills: Experience supporting LVM Experience in supporting DMZ environment and familiar with IPsec Pay range: $53.52 - $61.52 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
