Job Description

A Special Education Teacher is needed for a full academic year contract in Marion, OH, serving as an on-site Intervention Specialist. This role involves providing tailored instructional support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their academic growth and social development within the school environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to develop effective intervention strategies.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional approaches accordingly.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development sessions.
• Providing direct instruction and behavioral support to students requiring specialized interventions.

Qualifications and desired experience:
