Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Certification
• Core academic certification, preferably in generalist
• Experience teaching self-contained classrooms, particularly with elementary students
• Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and behavioral management techniques
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to float between classrooms as needed

Location: Plano, TX

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
• Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment tailored to students with special needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and parents to support student learning and development.
• Manage and support high behavioral needs within the classroom dynamic.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to ensure goals are being met.
